CollageIt 1.9

CollageIt creates collages from your favorite photos. Although not very sophisticated, this program is very easy to use and creates good-quality collages.
The interface is very intuitive, so it is unlikely that you need to consult the online documentation. Since this program does not perform any critical action, you can simply experiment using the different features and see the results for yourself. The main element in this interface is the working area, which functions as a WYSIWYG preview. You can start by selecting one of the templates from the welcoming screen. Then, you should make a photo list by dragging and dropping the files on the corresponding panel or by opening them through a dialog box. At this point, there will be blank spaces for each photo, which can be filled by dragging the desired photos onto them. Once you have filled all the blank spaces, you can proceed to change their layout. The Random Layout button will change the positions of the photos every time you push it while the Shuffle button changes the photos in each space. Other available options are enabling frame and shadow and setting margins and number of spaces. You can also activate Auto Sparse and Auto Rotate. The background of the collage can also be customized by specifying a type of gradient fill or using any image from a file.
When you have finished creating your collage, you will be ready to export. The application provides different ways of doing this. First, you may prefer to save your work as an image file and you will be able to use several formats and choose a quality. There are also other options that allow you to send the collage as an e-mail attachment or use it as wallpaper. Finally, you will also be able to share it on the web as this program supports uploading to Flicker and Facebook.
